Cluster provides several options for managing the life cycle of your bunches. From creation, to modification, and finally deletion.
Warning
Cluster does not currently support bunch titles containing double quotes. If you bunch title must contain quotes, please consider using single quotes.
Create a New Bunch
Trigger
Default Keyword: bbn
Overview
When this action is triggered a list of options is displayed in Alfred that allows you to create a new bunch in one of several ways detailed below.
In each case, when specifying a name for a new bunch, you only need to specify the base part of the file name. You should exclude the .bunch
file extension as this will be added automatically by Cluster.
Option: Empty
When this option is selected, you specify a name and Cluster will create an empty bunch file in the current bunch folder.
Option: Example
When this option is selected, you specify a name and Cluster will create a bunch file in the current bunch folder containing the content of the standard example bunch file for the app.
This is different to the Restore Example action in that you can specify any name for the bunch file rather than it explicitly being the default example file name.
Option: Personal
With this option you clone an existing bunch. When triggered, you will first be prompted to select a bunch from the bunches in the current bunch folder. Next you will be prompted to specify a name for the bunch. A new bunch will be created with the new name and the content of the existing bunch.
Option: Current
Selecting this option prompts you to specify a name and a bunch file of that name will then be created in the current bunch folder containing the list of open applications (as applications to be launched by the bunch).
Alternate
Holding CMD
when triggering this workflow will override the default functionality, and instead copy a list of open applications to the system clipboard. This is useful if you want a list of applications to paste into an existing bunch file.
